Hidden Acres Retrievers (formerly named Silver Creek Kennels), was founded by Travis, and his wife Lori in 2001. What began as 40-acres of un-kept farm-land was transformed by labor of love into 40 acres of dog paradise, with 6 Technical Ponds, acres of various native grasses providing different hunting terrains/scenarios, and a state-of-the-art training lodge and boarding facility like none-other.  After owning his first Labrador, Travis’ dream of having a career working with dogs was clear.

His vision for building a luxury facility where dogs are treated like family guests, but are given the opportunity to realize their full-potential… whether that be as a well-mannered family companion, a hard-charging hunting dog, or a fine-tuned competitive field champion.
