Apprentice Program

At Hidden Acres Pet Resort and Retrievers, the goal of our apprentice program is to demonstrate our expertise and enthusiasm in training top level Retrievers to those seeking a career in the dog care/training industry.

Through hands-on immersion into the day-to-day activities of a professional dog training and boarding facility, a Hidden Acres Apprentice will leave our program with the knowledge and confidence to necessary to work at a professional training facility or establish their own training business. 

The apprentice will have access to all that Hidden Acres has to offer, including top notch facilities, thousands of acres of customized training grounds, and state-of-the-art training equipment and vehicles. The apprentice will have the opportunity to build knowledge and skills working with a large number of dogs at various levels and with different personalities. The apprentice will learn various training techniques and tools through hands-on learning and application.
